1861 Administrator's Bond Document-Floyd County Ga-Hardin-Lamberth-Civil War

Description

Offered is this antique document from Floyd County, Georgia, an administrator's bond dated November 4th, 1861, during the Civil War. The bond concerns the estate of someone named Joseph Harvey, I think; the handwriting is a bit hard to read. Several other names are mentioned, as shown; one is Eli Hardin but the others are unclear to me (see photos). The ordinary judge is Jesse Lamberth. The back of the document contains filing information as well as some additional handwriting (see last two photos). This is a somewhat uncommon find; Civil War-era documents from the South often did not survive the war.
The document is approx. 13 3/4" x 8". It is in good to very good condition, with no holes or tears. It is heavily creased along the folds and is slightly ragged along the edges. The paper has browned but the writing is still visible, although as noted some of it is hard to decipher.
