Vintage Presentation Gavel with Sterling Silver Band - NJ Judge Furman W Reeves

For consideration is a vintage wood with sterling silver band presentation gavel. The gavel measures approx. 10” in length. Its head measures approx. 2 1/8” x 3 1/2”. The gavel weighs 7 oz. The sterling silver band reads “Presented To Hon Furman W Reeves Judge, Hudson County District Court Tuesday, April 12, 1949 By Kiwanis Club of Jersey City (New Jersey). The gavel is in very good “vintage” condition with signs of age, wear and use. In my opinion it is a very attractive piece that would make a nice addition to a collection or gift.
